What are pronouns?

Pronouns are used instead of a noun or noun phrase in a sentence. Pronouns may take place of the name of a person, place or thing.

Subject Pronouns:

I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they

Object Pronouns:

me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them

Possessive Adjectives:

my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their

Possessive Pronouns:

mine, yours, his, hers, ours, yours, theirs

Reflexive pronouns

myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves
