Boring or bored? What’s the difference?
I am bored because the lesson is boring.
The topic isn’t interesting. I am not interested in history.
-ed endings describe the feeling (How does someone feel?)
I am bored.
-ing endings describe the reason you have that feeling
I am bored because the lesson is boring.

I think this book is interesting. I’ve always been interested in physics.
It is surprising to see you. I was surprised to see you.
The game was disappointing. They were disappointed with the game.
*** Be careful! ‘I am boring’ is different from ‘I am bored.’
I am boring means I make other people bored.
Tom is such a boring guy.
He always talks about himself. (He makes other people bored.)
Tom is an interesting man.
I could listen to him for hours. (He causes a feeling in another person.)
